Spanish striker Rafa Mir was promoted to Valencia's B team in 2015 and after making 60 appearances and scoring 25 goals for them, he joined Wolves in the EFL Championship in January 2018 for €2 million.

Then followed a series of loan moves to Las Palmas, Nottingham Forest and Huesca with Mir only making two official appearances for Wolves in his three-year stay at the club.

His performances for Huesca were especially impressive as he scored 22 goals in 56 appearances in the 2020-21 season, leading to Sevilla agreeing to sign him for €16m in August 2021.

Argentine attacking midfielder Franco Vazquez established himself at Palermo, scoring 22 goals in 105 appearances for them between 2013 and 2016.

He formed an incredible partnership with fellow striker Paulo Dybala, which saw them finish the 2014-15 Serie A season as the two top assist providers in the league.

Seeing his consistent performances at the top level, Sevilla signed him for €16.80m in July 2016.

In his first official appearance for them on August 9, 2016, Vazquez scored a 3-2 extra-time loss to Real Madrid in the 2016 Uefa Super Cup.

On August 20, 2016, he scored and assisted on his La Liga debut in a 6-4 win against Espanyol.

Vazquez made 140 appearances for Sevilla over five years before moving to Parma as a free agent in July 2021.

Israeli international Munas Dabbur rose through the ranks at Maccabi Tel Aviv before moving to Zurich to feature for club Grasshoppers in a €400,000 transfer between 2014 to 2016.

After making 82 appearances and scoring 41 goals for Grasshoppers, in May 2016, Austrian club Salzburg signed him for €5 million.

In 76 appearances for Salzburg, Dabbur scored 44 goals before Sevilla signed him for €17m in January 2019, with him to arrive in Spain the following summer.

However, things didn't go well for him in Seville, making just two appearances before being shipped to Hoffenheim for €12m in January 2020.

Argentine forward Joaquin Correa arrived in Europe in 2015, signing for Sampdoria, featuring for 31 games with the Italian side before signing for Sevilla in July 2016 for €18.20 million.

Over the next three years, Correa was a revelation at Lazio, scoring 22 goals in 92 games before Inter Milan signed him on a season-long loan in 2021.

After scoring six goals in 26 appearances, Inter signed him permanently for €23.60m in July 2022.
