Dead by Daylight is coming to PUBG and spin-off mobile game, New State Mobile

Dead by Daylight is coming to PUBG and its spin-off mobile game, New State Mobile.

PUBG and New State’s October update include a “large-scale collaboration” with the fan-favourite asymmetrical horror Dead by Daylight which will launch 21st on consoles/PC and 26th October on mobile, “just in time for Halloween” and the mobile title’s first anniversary event.

“One day, everything was consumed by the Fog. Just like that. Nobody knows why,” developer Krafton teases. “Expeditions were dispatched – us right now – to study and report back the buried secrets of the Fog. But it didn’t take us long to find out something more lurked out here.. We call it the KILLER.

The Killer makes sure many teams don’t come back from the Fog. In other words, not only do you have to reveal the Fog’s mysteries and escape safely, but you also have to make sure you don’t get slaughtered. But before you begin, make sure to read the expedition guideline below for a higher chance of survival.”

Expect the usual DbD hijinx, including generators to fix, cooperative survivors, and a single killer per match.

As for the mobile event?

“The collaboration’s theme, Fright for Survival, emphasises the Halloween spirit while focusing on each game’s core survival themes,” developer Krafton explains. “The video thrillingly portrays the special hide and seek game mode, which takes place in Paradiso on the new Akinta map. Starting Oct. 26, additional short form content will also be released to celebrate Halloween”. You can check out the spooky action below.
